"The Capture" wins the Third Place in the Arts illustrated Poetry Competition.
I wrote a poem inspired by the prompt provided by Arts Illustrated. It was one from a project series by artist Masuram Ravikant. He modifies the old photographs to provide relevance to the modern scenario.

Sakkare Acchu: Sankranti Sugar Dolls
January brings sweet memories. I wrote about the process of making the Sankranti sakkare acchu for Asiavillenews. Though I had helped my mother with the sole intention of trying to wheedle broken dolls from her, I was immersed in the experience of creating sweet sculptures.
