Hi, I'm Jyothi Vinod writing with the 'Happy Light' shining.Very fond of reading and writing, I embarked on the journey of words after nearly 10 years of teaching Electronics in colleges. I had written a lot of poetry and essays during school and college days. Marriage, kids and a teaching job kept writing at a distance (my biggest regret). Writing groups and challenges brought back my confidence. I've written about twenty short stories in the past two years. Ten have been published so far and a few others have been accepted for publication.
I plan to start writing poetry--free verse again. I love writing travel pieces but am not able to travel as much. My other loves are my family, birds and trees.
